Pop-up Show 'Mysolation' in live streaming at Gallery UNO Projektraum Berlin by New York based photographer Eva Mueller

Duration 3rd to 6th December 2020

MYSOLATION is a month-long series of self-portraits I took while isolating alone in my live-work studio in Brooklyn during the lockdown in April and May 2020

The series consists of 53 images taken on 24 different days. Some days are expressed in single photos, others in diptychs and groups.

MYSOLATION is about gaining a deeper self-awareness by becoming vulnerable, becoming my own best friend, facing my fears and inner contradictions, expressing my emotions and fantasies, and, most importantly, radically accepting myself.


 

Eva Mueller is a photographer and conceptual artist. After a long career as a fashion and music photographer, Mueller shifted her focus to fine art photography. The German Bauhaus School strongly influences her iconic style and minimalist aesthetic. Mueller's work takes a deeper look at our human existence's core constructs such as gender identity, race and sexuality.The artist lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.

Simultaneously with her show Eva Mueller and the Berlin based artist Richard Schemmerer will introduce the project ROID zine

During the upcoming shows Gallery UNO Projektraum Berlin will run the video of the performance artist Paola Romoli Venturi 'Non riesco a tornare a casa' - performed for the first time during RAW Rome Art Week  October 2020 at Artexhibition's Artists Studio Rome. The video addresses the lockdown period in Rome.
