Installation at Artists Studio Rome for IPER il Festival delle Periferie di Roma 21/23 May 2021

RIF Museo delle periferie a Tor Bella Monaca, directed by Giorgio de Finis




Conceived by Paola Romoli Venturi

4 windows on the facade of the Art Exhibition Link – Artists Studio Rome headquarters. 

4 windows, 4 coats of arms for Tor Bella Monaca on 4 virtual, real, performative, and sound sheets by 4 artists: Francesca Fini, Laura Mega, Paola Romoli Venturi, Maria Angeles Vila Tortosa. The project installation is physically visible in the Borgo district and Virtually in Tor Bella Monaca, as a sign of brotherhood/ twinning between the districts and suburbs of Rome.

Walking on Borgo Pio it will be possible to see the ‘real’ installation, while by downloading the ARTIVIVE application it’s possible to see:

‘FLOW’ by Francesca Fini, that comes to life on the façade of the building in Augmented Reality

the performance ‘ L’ORTICA DI TOR BELLA MONACA’ by Maria Angeles Vila Tortosa

the artwork ‘TOR BELLA MONACA R_ESISTE’ by Laura Mega

the audio of the ‘STEMMA STORNELLATO’ by Paola Romoli Venturi. The stornello gives voice to the STEMMA (coat of arms) and singing it becomes a participatory performance.
How to get involved in the CALL ‘CANTARE LO STORNELLO’ (singing the STORNELLO): You can contact us on the FB page 4finestre or via email 4finestre@gmail.com asking the stornello Lyrics, then look out of your window and sing/ recite the words making a video or a FB video to post on the FB 4finestre page.

From May 21st to 23rd the 4finestre video, included with the interviews, the set-up, and the performances of the 4 artists, will be visible online on the IPER portal, Festival delle Periferie di Roma (Festival of Suburbs in Rome).
